Don´t mixup the WebEditors (role) rights (rights to use the edit interface) with Administration rights on a page. User in group (with the role) WebAdmin allways has rights to administer a page Users/groups with rights to administer a page allways have the dynamic properties available. So... editors whithout rights to administer a page will have the Dynamic properties toll greyed out.

I figured that applying simple rights wouldn't do the trick. There's no way to override this? Like adding extra-rights to WebEditors inside WebConfig?

No, administrative rights on the page is the key - it's there to enable more advanced page options such as dynamic properties and security.

I'd also like to able to allow WebEditors access certain dynamic properties. The tab-rights would be sufficent. Maybe you can put it on a wish list.
