IE7 problem

Hi, I've just installed IE7 and downloaded the Edit/Admin fix for IE7. But I have a problem in Edit mode. I cannot enter any text in the (page) type XHTML String (>255). It seems like it's not active in IE 7. Now I have installed Virtual Machine and running a Win XP image that has IE6 in order to create new articles / pages. Any suggestions anyone?

Hi Steven! I found a temporary solution by typing one or more letters in html mode (button show/hide html code). Then you can go back to edit mode and you will get focus to enter some text. //Öjje

You have to add 2 rows in the editor stylesheet. http://www.episerver.com/en/EPiServer_Knowledge_Center/Download2/Hotfixes/EPiServer-IE7-fixes/ /HAXEN

Thanks Örjan. Nice workaround. Let's hope it's fixed in EPiServer 5. :) Håkan: I've already downloaded and installed the IE7 fix from EPi. Unless the link you gave me is something else (haven't tried it).

I think it is 1 lines in the editor.css that's doing the trick as I remembered. html, body { height:100%; } /HAXEN

Hi

Was this issue ever fixed?

I still have a problem when running epi 4.x in ie7, whereby the editor only becomes editable when you click on an area of about 1cm squared in the left corner of the editor field?

I've tried settin the height to 100% like above but with no luck - I've also tries the link above but the link no longer works.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Mike.

Hello Bradley.

It seems to me that you have not installed this Hotfix on your client:
