Url to Image in editor CMS 5

I have added an editor to a page that the user will use for sending email.

Everything works fina and I can add images from the virtual url's.

The problem starts when I receive the mail because it doesn't show the images.

Does anybody know how to make it work?

Have you checked the urlpath to the images? you probably need to add an absolute path so that the email can find your imagesource..

Yes I had to do a replace on all src attributes before sending the message.
