Is the preferred behaviour in the CMS 12 to leave links to content deleted from content areas even if the content is removed from waste basket as well? We are having trouble with large amount of broken links and code not working as in CMS 11 since we did not have this in that version if I remember correct.
Problem occur when you have a reference to a block in a content area. Delete the block from the ContentAsset folder and then delete the block from trash bin. We then get a broken link in the content area. This does not happen on for instance a ordinary content reference only in content areas and has as far as I can tell not been like this in earlier versions of the CMS.
In earlier versions you also got a warning for content that had a reference but was in the waste basket.
Any one else with this problem and if so is there a solution to this or should we report it as a bug/feature? :)
