Hi Vishal,
What Episerver version are you using?
Secod comment, don't use Add-Ons view to add add-ons but use Visual Studio to manage your solution add-ons (if you are using for example load balanced environment that way adding an add-on will not be available automatically for all web fronts).
Hi Antti,
it was the latest version. BUt like i said i also saw the nuget package. So i installed that one and it's basically the same. So i dont care about why the addons aint working :-)
I missed your question about the difference UI vs VS installation. Official documentation is here: https://world.episerver.com/documentation/developer-guides/CMS/add-ons/Installing-add-ons/
Personally I would say that the original idea of having Episerver Add-Ons store and PackageAdmins being able to install Add-ons using the UI was a nice idea but there were scenarios where it doesn't work like mentioned in the documentation, don't use UI in Azure (and I say that the same for load balanced environments too).
Hi,
when installing the Episerver language manager addon from the add-on store i get the following error.
See screenshot and error in console. What am i missing?
Unable to load /EPiServer/AddOns/AddOns/InstallModule?moduleArea=EPiServer.Packaging.UI status: 404
Also in nuget i see this: https://nuget.episerver.com/package/?id=EPiServer.Labs.LanguageManager
What is the difference between the addon and the nuget package?
