We have a customer who's using EPiServer CMS 5 R2 (5.2.375.7) and they want to be able to set access rights on folders in EPiServers File Manager.
The problem is that all their files is in a VPP as a VirtualPathNativeProvider, and then the little "key icon" is greyed out in the File Manager. This is not the case in the latest release of EPiServer 5 (R2 SP1).
I've tried clean installations of both R2 and R2 SP1 and it only works on the R2 SP1.
So, my question is: Is there a way (apart from upgrading) to enable the ability to set Access Rights on folders in the EPiServer File Manager with EPiServer CMS5 R2 (5.2.375.7)?
