Manager will not install

I'm unable to install the EPiServer Manager. If I click on the link (http://download.episerver.com/clickoncemanager/EPiServerManager.application) provided in the mail I received after registering for download, nothing at all happens. If I open the link manually (pasting the above URL in a new window), nothing happens. If I go to http://download.episerver.com/clickoncemanager/, I get page with button that points at http://download.episerver.com/clickoncemanager/EPiServerManager.application, but clicking this button gives the same result as before... nothing happens. Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround that I can use? Perhaps an offline version of the installer? Please advice. // Jakob

Hi Jakob! Unfortunately, errors of this type (nothing happens) are rather hard to analyze. My guess is that the client doesn't know how to handle files with ClickOnce extenstions (like .application and .manifest). Make sure that you have .NET Framework 2.0 and 3 installed on the client machine. Also check that you have a file mapping for the .application extension as described here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms229001(VS.80).aspx. Can you download the file at all? What happens if you select "Save target as" on the link pointing to the .application file? Hopefully this will solve your problem. If not, I can provide you with an offline package of the Manager, I just have to create one first...

Hi, I have the same problem. When I click on the link a blank window shows up and disappears at once. I´ve tried to uninstall/reinstall .net framework 2.0 and 3.0 but it didn´t help. I can save the file on disk, but get an error if I try to run it. Can you send me an offline package or is there something else I can try?

Yesturday the installation worked... and I haven't made any changes to my machine. I was trying different browsers (Firefox), when all of the sudden it just worked. It was the same for a college of mine here... all of a sudden the installation started when we clicked the install-button on http://download.episerver.com/clickoncemanager/ Does anyone know if EPi changed something yesturday? (around 15.00 in the afternoon)
